1. Applicable purchase terms

Apple's applicable purchase terms and Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement apply to ClipSwitch. This page explains supplementary website and product-use information. It does not replace or override Apple's applicable agreement, refund rules or any mandatory law.

2. A convenience, not a backup

ClipSwitch provides temporary clipboard history. It is not a backup service, permanent archive, password manager or guaranteed recovery tool. Entries may be removed by retention and storage limits, explicit deletion, a confirmed change to Free access, software or device failures, app removal or other events. File references do not preserve the files they point to.

Keep original copies and independent backups of anything important. You are responsible for deciding what to copy, what to retain and where to paste. Do not rely on ClipSwitch as the only copy of your work or as protection for secrets. There is no promise that a lost or deleted clipping can be recovered.

3. Free, Pro and deletion

Free keeps up to five clippings for seven days since last copy or successful use, subject to other supported storage limits. Pro provides higher supported history capacity and additional controls; it does not promise unlimited storage or permanent preservation.

A confirmed Free result, including after refund or revocation, removes favorites, collections and history outside Free limits without a further confirmation or archive. Later restoration of Pro does not restore deleted content. Unknown access or verification errors are not themselves a confirmed downgrade. The Privacy policy explains these controls and deletion limits.

4. Availability and warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, ClipSwitch and this website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without additional express or implied warranties, including warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability or non-infringement. We do not guarantee clipboard capture, source attribution, sensitive-content filtering, compatibility with every app or file provider, or recovery of deleted data.

This does not exclude any warranty, remedy, quality standard or other protection that cannot lawfully be excluded. Apple's applicable agreement and mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law and subject to the applicable purchase agreement, Zeptura excludes liability for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on ClipSwitch or this website, including loss of data, work, profits or business opportunity. You should take reasonable steps to keep originals and backups and reduce foreseeable losses.

Nothing here excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by law, including any non-excludable liability for fraud, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or statutory consumer protections, where applicable. The applicable law determines the effect of these provisions.

6. Responsible use and third-party services

Use the app and website lawfully and respect other people's privacy and intellectual-property rights. Copied material remains subject to its owners' rights. Apple, email, operating-system, file-provider and hosting services operate under their own applicable terms. A link does not mean their services are controlled by Zeptura.
